The route takes in the Clyde Walkway path, local paths minor roads and a dismantled railway line. It passes Mauldslie Bridge, Rosebank, Netherburn and Craignethan castle in its circuit. There is a mixture of good surfaces and some muddy stretches on the paths and the railway line.

Walk Description:

 

The route passes along paths, landrover tracks and involves some road walking too. Some sections may be muddy and there are some boggy sections too. From the carpark, the route follows the banks of the Tweed, until a foot bridge is reached. After crossing the footbridge, the path continues and eventually crosses the A72. A track continues uphill until Upper Kidston is reached. At this point a diversion is taken, to climb White Meldon and  returns before continuing, to join the Cross Borders Road. The cross Borders Road is followed to return to Peebles, at the carpark where the walk started.

Walk Description::

 

Most of the walk will be on good forestry tracks and footpaths, there may be some muddy sections after prolonged rain. From the car park, the route crosses the Tweed and continues until Eddleston Water is reached. A path follows Eddleston water until A703 is reached. After crossing the A703, a path leading uphill past Ven Law is joined. The path eventually reaches Shieldgreen Centre. A track going down hill towards Peebles and A72 following Smoonhope Burn is joined. A72 is joined at the Tweed and the track follows the Tweed until teaching the car park where the walk started.

Walk Description::

 

The walk starts by joining the Annandale Way footpath, which is followed upstream beside the River Annan, to reach a minor road which is followed up Annandale, to reach Annan Water Hall. After passing the hall, the road is left at a signpost for the Spa and a path beside the Auchenchat Burn is now followed, to reach the site of the Spa. The path is now retraced for a short distance and the burn is crossed, to climb out of the gulley. The hillside is now traversed, heading southwards to reach Greygill Head, where the route now descends, to reach a minor road at Archbank. The road is now followed, to the finish in Moffat.

Walk Description::

 

The car park is exited and the Annandale Way is joined on a footpath beside the River Annan, which is now followed  to reach the minor road, which goes up Annandale. The road is now followed, to return to Moffat at the A701 junction.  A local path, which starts from a side street, is now followed through Gallow woods, to Gallow Hill, where a track leads to a minor road at Archbank. The route continues, now heading south westwards on a waymarked path, crossing fields and the houses at Alton and Frenchland, to meet the A708 road, on the eastern edge of Moffat. The road is followed to the finish in Moffat.

Walk Description:

 

From the car park there is some road walking through the village, until the Tillicoultry burn is reached at Upper Mill Street. At the end of Upper Mill Street, a path to the left passes the edge of a disused quarry and Ochil Hills Woodland Park. When Silver Glen is reached, the route then follows the Silver Burn steeply up hill, eventually reaching Ben Ever at a height of 2040ft (622M). The same route is followed back to the car park at Sterling Mills Outlet.

From the car park, take a left turn, then another left turn to join a disused railway line, eventually crossing the River Devon. The route continues along the disused railway line until Fairfield is reached. After a left turn, the route continues along Gartmorn Road, to reach Gartmorn Country Park. The route follows paths alongside the Reservoir, through woodland and exiting at Coalsnaughton. The remainder of the route follows various roads to return to the car park at Sterling Mills outlet.

Walk Description:::

 

Starting in West Linton from outside the Olde Toll Tea House, the route follows a path to the A702. After crossing the A702 the route follows a path up the gorge of the Lyne Water, eventually joining the Cross Borders Drove Road. A path near Baddingsgill House, leading to the dam of Baddingsgill Reservoir is taken. After crossing the dam, the Cross Borders Drove Road is re-joined. At the junction for “Little Hill”, an about turn is taken, to follow the Cross Borders Drove Road back to the starting point in West Linton.

Walk Description::

 

Starting in West Linton, from outside the Olde Toll Tea House, the route follows the Cross Borders Drove Road to the A702. After crossing the A702 the route continues to follow the Cross Borders Drove Road, eventually joining the route of a Roman Road leading to Carlops. The route joins the A702 in Carlops. A left turn is taken before reaching Carlops Burn. The track loops back to the Roman Road, to head back to West Linton. Instead of re-joining the Cross Borders Drove Road, the route continues on the Roman Road, crossing the Lyne Water. When Medwyn Road is reached, the route takes a left turn and follows the road, until the A702 is reached. After crossing the A702, the route follows a path back to the starting point.
